Nerdy Nonprofit Nights are once-a-month brainstorming trouble-shooting sessions where you happen to meet more of your colleagues! Each month, professionals from our local nonprofits gather for a nerdy evening of finding inventive ways for local charities to work together more, in a loosely-structured yet highly-productive social setting... Think social hours with a learning problem!
Last month's 'Open Session' edition of Nerdy Nonprofit Nights was a huge success! A few that attended that evening - along with a number of people that wanted to be there but couldn't make it - asked if we'd be doing it again. There's no time like the present, so N³ will be fulfilling that request at this month's Nerdy Nonprofit Night!
For 'Open Sessions', you are asked to show up with at least one idea or one question related to your career in the nonprofit world. You’ll write that item on a scrap of paper, and throw it into the middle of a table when we break up into small groups for about an hour during the event. Your scrap will then be discussed along with the submissions of other people in your group. It's an opportunity to discover unexpected insights and solutions from nonprofit professionals working for entirely different causes than your own!
Last month showed our attendees just how valuable those outside perspectives can be, and now we hope you'll join us on Thursday, March 19 from 5:30 - 8:30 at Cornish Pasty so you can experience that value for yourself! We promise it will be as fun (and rewarding!) as it is nerdy!
