Nerdy Nonprofit Nights are once-a-month brainstorming trouble-shooting sessions where you happen to meet more of your colleagues! Each month, professionals from our local nonprofits gather for a nerdy evening of finding inventive ways for local charities to work together more, in a loosely-structured yet highly-productive social setting... Think social hours with a learning problem!
In February, our topic is....WHATEVER. YOU. WANT! Open Session is pretty simple: this will be our first event with a faux-ticket fee (yes, it’s free). The fee is this: you show up with one idea or one question about your professional life you'd like to solve. You’ll write it on a scrap of paper and throw it into a bucket at the door. That's it. We'll be discussing and troubleshooting those items in small groups for about an hour in the middle of the event, and it'll be as fun (and rewarding!) as it is nerdy. :)
Not clear on what we're suggesting, or are you totally clear on how this event will take place just want to sign up to volunteer as a mini-group facilitator? Feel free to contact board member Mike Kamer (he’s the YNPN point-of-contact for these events) at firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer or for more information about the event.
February's Nerdy Nonprofit Night will be held at Cornish Pasty Co
