Access to Experts – Women in Leadership

With Women’s History Month right around the corner, YNPN is pleased to invite you to “Access to Experts: Women In Leadership” on Thursday, February 25th, at 6:00 pm, for a conversation with Lynsey Freeman, Board Chairwoman for Positively Kids and Managing Director for WestPac Wealth Partners, and Anne Browne, CFRE, Board Chairwoman for the Alliance for Nevada Nonprofits and the National Philanthropy Officer (Western Division) of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Lynsey and Anne will share how they’ve navigated challenges and celebrated accomplishments in the time of Covid, as well as best practices and advice for effective leadership in the nonprofit sector.

Access to Experts (A2E) is a program created by YNPN Southern Nevada that was started to share stories of local nonprofit and community leaders, with a goal of providing professional development and advice to future generation of leaders.

Meet the Speakers


Lynsey Freeman’s passion is to teach her clients the art of money management – how to protect it, save it, invest it, spend it wisely, and enjoy it through every stage of life. She provides a simple yet highly effective method of approaching finance – in a fun, personalized, compassionate, relatable, and realistic way.

Lynsey is a Managing Director with WestPac Wealth Partners based out of the Las Vegas office. She was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and graduated from Bishop Gorman High School. She pursued a basketball scholarship at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2006 and later finished her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

In addition to her career, Lynsey is focused on putting her passions and skills to good use by supporting local organizations and projects. She is the Chairwoman of the Board for The Foundation for Positively Kids, which helps drive key healthcare initiatives for the Las Vegas youth. She is also the City Leader for Gals That Brunch, where she’s able to create a positive, authentic, and empowering atmosphere for women to connect with each other and create community within Las Vegas. In her spare time, you can find her on the golf course, yoga studio, or spending time with her puppies.


Anne has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit organizations and is responsible for the development, cultivation, and management of successful fundraising programs totaling over $50 million. She has directed all fundraising strategies including major gifts, annual campaigns, and grant writing.

She is currently the National Philanthropy Officer, Western Division for Muscular Dystrophy Association focusing on building individual giving and expanding portfolio of major donors in a $120 million nonprofit organization. Anne serves as the Board Chair for Alliance for Nevada Nonprofits (ANN), an association that is the leader and voice for Nevada’s nonprofit sector by providing resources for sustainability, advocacy and professionalism.

She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from University of Southern California and received her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification in 2019.
