Michael A. Vannozzi is the Managing Member of VNZ Strategies and the Executive Director of the Downtown Vegas Alliance. An experienced public policy and communications professional, he holds degrees and certificates from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and the Leadership Institute of Nevada.
Michael has more than ten years of experience working on strategy and public policy related to education, economic development, and transportation infrastructure. For more than five years, Michael was an aide to United States Senator Harry Reid, serving in communications and public policy roles both in Washington D.C. and Las Vegas. In 2013, Michael joined the LVGEA where he played a key role in setting the vision for the organization and the region. Along with TIP Strategies, Michael was the author of southern Nevada's first Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, a document that informs the region's economic development efforts to this day. In 2015, Michael led the LVGEA's efforts to advocate for increased investment in public education and galvanize the business community in support of a business tax to support education. From 2016 - 2018, Michael was the Vice President of Creative Strategies at TSC2 Group; there, he led efforts to reorganize the Clark County School District. In 2018, Michael was appointed as the Executive Director of the Downtown Vegas Alliance. In that role, he helps to guide that organization on a diverse array of issues important to downtown Las Vegas.
